Young Liverpool Film Night is just over a week away, but we are not panicking, OH NO, everything is coming together quite nicely actually, not least because of the Freehander’s hard work, which includes folding paper boats (origami style), writing the programme of events for the night, and of course, judging all of the amazing films that were submitted this year.
Don’t forget to book your tickets from FACT’s Box Office and see what it’s all about. Or, if you are a charity or youth organisation, please contact Louise Latter louise.latter@fact.co.uk 0151 707 4444 for complimentary tickets. Shortlisted filmmakers will receive complimentary tickets for themselves and a few friends/family.
Robot Reboot – The Perfect Intermission
Despite all the hard work we also found time to fit in a fun and thought provoking workshop with artist Dave Evans. It was the perfect break from the hard work we’ve been putting in for YLFN. We spent the day looking at the history of Robots in cinema, then taking a few choice scenes and re-creating them in a very home made way. Here a few pics from the day, and of course, we’ll get the finished rebooted films up here soon ——–>
